Windows 95-98, NT 4.0, 2000, etc. operating systems

AKT.EXE (or the FileOpen AUTHRIZE.KEY Translator) is a
DOS program that translates FileOpen AUTHRIZE.KEY into AUTHRIZE.LOG using
the terms specified in AKT.INI (created when AKT.EXE is run the first time).
You may run it from your desktop or any other folder. AKT.EXE and AKT.INI
must reside in the same directory.
Installation: Run AKT.EXE from the desktop in order to see the
instructions and to create the default AKT.INI. Customize the AKT.INI to
suit your needs. When the program is running the way you want, place AKT.EXE
and AKT.INI in the folder of your choice and make a shortcut to AKT.EXE
and select the Close on exit option in the AKE.EXE Properties,
Program dialog (the shortcut properties). Now by doubleclicking this
shortcut you can translate automatically the contents of your AUTHRIZE.KEY.
Your original AUTHRIZE.KEY file is not modified in any way.

APPENDIX.PDF is a concordance of FileOpen client terminology in
supported languages. You may find it useful in translating the terms of
the above AKT.EXE into your language.
